Pencil Pentagram Card
My art is inspired by the beautiful landscape of the Peak District and the myths and legends that are woven into its fabric.
The pentagram has a long history as a as a symbol of luck and protection.
The feminine planet Venus has an orbit referred to as the pentagram of Venus, the positions of Earth, Venus, and the Sun occur five times. Then repeat over the next eight years almost identically.
Gwain one of Arthurs Knights wore the pentagram on his surcote as it represented the five knightly virtues when he battled with the green knight in the green chapel which many scholars believe to be Luds Church on the Roaches estate.
In times of need you can draw a pentagram in the air for protection for the first stoke just imagine you're drawing a sword, just like Gwain.
